Black Silver Alto
Where can i but a cheap coloured Alto Saxophone?
Any ideas??? I really want one for chrisrmas, just the colour can’t be Black Gold or silver apart from the fingering of course. thanks.
the best place to look is actually ebay. the chinese makes are fine and a lot cheaper than usual, but you will get screwed on the postage. coloured instruments from here are more expensive but the postage is a bit less (occasionally free if your buying from a store online), although to be honest, the money you’ll save buying a cheap one will generally go toward repairing the damn thing when you start finding leaks, bent rods, broken keys etc. also be aware that a lot of extra care has to be taken when handling a coloured instrument, because the tiniest scratch REALLY shows, and on the cheap models the oil from your skin corrodes the the coloured layer much quicker than average.
