Each year between July and September, Edinburgh hosts the largest festival of the arts in the world, drawing crowds from all over the world to enjoy an eclectic collection of culture, music, movies, books and comedy in the program through various parts of the city. Commonly referred to as the Edinburgh Festival, the event is actually a collection of discrete festivals, including Fringe Festival, the Edinburgh Film Festival and the Edinburgh Book Festival among many others.
