Silver Plated or sterling silver?
Okay, I’m allergic to sterling silver, does that mean I’ll be allergic to silver plated jewelry too? I’ve also heard that if I put clear nail polish on my necklace, if won’t bother me, is it true? Please try and help me. Oh, and what’s the difference anyway?

This might help……..Pure Sterling Silver is very soft and very light…there isn’t much weight to it at all……If you see a Stamped that says `Sterling“…you will not be allergic
But if your necklace has a stamped that says 925 – sterling`….most people are fooled by this ….Even if it says Silver plated….What it means is there are other metals mixed in..like lead and nickel…..most people are allergic to these….it’s usually the nickel that causes the break outs !! and the lead is dangerous…..So, check it out….Does your necklace have a weight to it ?? Or, does it hardly have a weight to it at all ??
I’m allergic too……so I had to do a lot of research on it…so every time I went some where and wanted a piece of Real Sterling Silver jewelry… I had to make sure it was pure Silver….I have quite a lot ….Good Luck!!
